COLLABORATIONS FOR STUDENT SUCCESS

We acknowledge the concepts that “schools and districts can’t do it alone” and “it takes a village to raise a child”; yet we do not always put this into action.

This group will consider how non-profits, businesses of all sizes, and higher education can collaborate locally with schools and districts to operationalize concrete, cross-sector strategies to strengthen pathways to adult success, both in schools and across boundaries and transitions beyond school.

Most particularly, how can we provide all students quality post-secondary navigation guidance and supports, and how can we optimize support after they leave school and are no longer in a structured environment?
